Hillary Clinton said voters ought to recognize President Joe Biden's age, emphasizing the importance of saving democracy from Donald Trump.

Clinton shared with the audience of the Mornings with Zerlina radio show on SiriusXM on Tuesday that Trump was also advanced in age and posed a greater threat to the nation's future. Trump is 77 years old, while Biden is 81 years old, as per Washington Examiner.

RALEIGH, NC - NOVEMBER 08: Democratic presidential nominee former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton speaks during a campaign rally at North Carolina State University on November 8, 2016 in Raleigh North Carolina. With less than 24 hours until Election Day in the United States, Hillary Clinton is campaigning in Pennsylvania, Michigan and North Carolina.

Hillary Clinton, who served as Secretary of State in the past, recently discussed the age element in the next political situation. She advocated the essence of selecting leadership that protects democracy. Clinton identified the fact that Joe Biden is getting on in years during an open forum, and she urged the members of the public to concentrate on the candidates' effectiveness and the influence they have on democracy.

Biden was described by Clinton as someone who has done a successful job without posing a threat to democracy. Clinton's description of Biden was a stark contrast to the two contenders who appeared in the past. In contrast, she defined the other candidate as something that hardly made sense while speaking, as being dangerous, and as posing a risk to democracy. She did not specifically name former President Donald Trump in her description of the other candidate.

Clinton refrained from talking about questions over Biden's mental capacity, despite the fact that she acknowledged Biden's age. She instead made a subtle adjustment in the narrative by implying that Trump's memory problems were more obvious than those of other people, mentioning specific occasions in which he had difficulty recalling facts.

When choosing between the two more experienced candidates, the former Secretary of State offered an appeal to the general people, urging them to give the protection of democracy the highest priority. Clinton placed a strong emphasis on the common objective of preserving freedom, the rule of law, and the safeguarding of fundamental rights, regardless of the party connections of the audience, according to Fox News.

Doubts Over Biden, Trump's Mental Capability

A recent poll revealed uncertainty among voters regarding how Biden's age might impact a potential second term. Approximately 6 in 10 respondents expressed doubts about President Biden's mental capability to serve effectively. Notably, this skepticism extended to former President Trump, with a similar percentage lacking confidence in his mental capability.

Some members of the Democratic Party, such as Senator Richard Blumenthal and Senator Raphael Warnock, have voiced confidence in the president's mental capacity, and Clinton's recognition of Biden's age sets her apart from many other Democrats.

Special Counsel Robert Hur, who conducted an investigation into Vice President Joe Biden's handling of secret materials, published a report in January that brought the subject of the president's age to the attention of the whole nation. There were times in which Biden forgot crucial information, such as the day when his son Beau passed away, according to the study, which revealed that Biden had a weak memory and impaired intellect.

President Biden promptly dismissed the claims, asserting that his memory remains intact. The controversy surrounding age and mental capacity has become a focal point as the political landscape evolves, prompting public scrutiny and discussions about leadership qualifications, Daily Mail reported.
