Thieves wearing ski masks broke into the $7 million home of Keanu Reeves in the Hollywood Hills and escaped with a stolen gun, according to a police report made on Friday, December 8.

Police sources informed TMZ that at about 7:00 PM local time on Wednesday, December 6, the actor's home was initially checked after an anonymous tip about a suspected intruder. However, no one was located at the scene. The alarm began beeping around 1:00 AM the following day, prompting the officers to return almost five hours later.

Targeted Again

A group of guys wearing ski masks were seen on surveillance footage by the police breaking a window and entering the celebrity's property, which had a value of almost $7 million, as reported by the New York Post.

The suspects allegedly stole a gun from the residence before running away, according to the police. One of the sources indicated that Reeves was not present at the residence during that time.

In their investigation, detectives have reviewed footage captured by security cameras both inside and outside the residence. They are particularly trying to determine whether the first contact that was made on Wednesday night was from someone who was merely scoping out the residence.

Similar Events

A similar incident occurred in 2014 when Reeves dealt with two separate break-ins.

At the time, a lady in her mid-40s had reportedly broken into the home where the actor was staying and had fallen asleep in the library chair. Reeves woke up and spoke with the unidentified lady who supposedly claimed to have come to see him before he dialed 911.

Days later, when he was out, another woman was said to have entered his house via an unlocked door. Reportedly, she undressed, hopped in his shower, and skinny-dipped in his pool before the cleaning staff contacted the authorities.

Psychological exams were conducted on both ladies after they were apprehended.

Apart from these incidents, Reeves and his girlfriend, Alexandra Grant, were both served with a temporary restraining order earlier this year, targeting a guy who asserted his connection with the actor.

The 38-year-old trespasser allegedly broke into the actor's Hollywood Hills mansion six times between November 5, 2022, and January 20 of this year. Court documents reportedly show that the trespasser made many attempts to make contact with the actor each time.

A special security detail was hired by Reeves to probe the supposed intruder, who had posted many times online claiming to be a blood related to the actor. The intruder made some strange social media postings in which he identified as Jasper Keith Reeves and expressed his desire to have the actor "in charge" of him. Additionally, he indicated his desire to transfer his "personal rights" to the actor.
