Gal Gadot has already dismissed critics saying she's "too skinny" to play Wonder Woman in Zack Snyder's "Man of Steel" sequel. The 28-year-old actress and model was attacked for her slender frame after Warner Bros. announced that she would play the Amazonian Princess alongside Ben Affleck's Batman and Henry Cavill's Superman.

Following the casting announcement Batman fans took to Twitter to express their dislike, Metro reports.

"Does Gal Gadot have large enough breasts to play Wonder Woman? That's a valid question?! #Lookather #BodyImagineMedia,"one user tweeted.

"The only thing I'm worried about Gal Gadot getting cast as Wonder Woman is that she's too skinny, like anorexic skinny. Time to gain weight," someone else posted.

"So, I'm not the type to say this normally, but Gal Gadot is going to have to bulk up, if DC plans on showing Wonder Woman. She's skinny..." another Twitter user wrote.

During a TV interview with the Israeli show "Good Evening with Gai Pines" Gadot addressed the criticism.

"I represent the Wonder Woman of the new world," she said. "Breasts... anyone can buy them... By the way, Wonder Woman is Amazonian, and historically accurate Amazonian woman actually had only one breast. So if I'd really go 'by the book'... it'd be problematic."

Gadot did say she would be training for the role and knows she would gain some "body mass."

"It's the physical preparations that I'm starting now," she said. "A very serious training regimen - Kung Fu, kickboxing, swords, jujutsu, Brazilian... 1,000 and 1 things... I'll gain body mass."

Recently, the actress uploaded a photo to her Facebook page showing off her muscles after a morning workout.

"There's nothing like a good workout in the morning.. Love it! You?" she captioned the photo.
