Kevin Smith can't stop raving about Ben Affleck's batsuit in Zack Snyder's sequel to "Man of Steel." He has been talking about the costume nonstop and has been constantly dropping hints about what fans can expect to see in the film.

To put it simply, Smith thinks the suit is amazing. During one of his podcasts in November he told fans that Snyder showed him a picture of Affleck in the batsuit and it "blew his mind."

"I instantly bear hugged [Snyder]," he said. "You have not seen this costume in a movie or film before, and for a comic book fan, it was mind bending."

Recently, a fan asked Smith during his "Ask Me Anything" Q&A on Reddit if he was involved in helping Affleck figure out what his role as the Caped Crusader would be in "Batman Vs. Superman," Comicbook.com reports.

Smith said he was not involved in the project but took the time to, once again dish, on the batsuit. Here's what he said:

"I'm not involved at all. I'm just a big, fat cheerleader, blinded by love of both Batman and the dude I used to work with a lot who's now gonna play him. Strange collision of lifetime passions - which, make no mistake, sounds exactly as homoerotic as I intended. In MALLRATS opening credits, Ben is depicted on cover of BUTMAN ADVENTURES comic book. In the CHASING AMY commentary track, I say Ben 'You can be Clooney.' He says 'I can be Clooney.' And I ask 'But can you be Batman?' In JERSEY GIRL, Ben refers to the street-sweeper as 'the BatMobile.' And years after all that s***, homey winds up in the cape & cowl. That s*** just makes me happy.

But the only words I've exchanged with Ben about Batman role have been via email. I blew him up when I saw the suit and wrote 'Zack showed me you in the suit. I've got the vapors.' He wrote back 'You saw it?! I haven't even seen the pictures yet! How's it look?' I replied 'F**k you and take all my money a) Perfect suit. Every fan will love b) You ARE Batman! C) Can I be Penguin?' Still waiting on a reply. He hasn't said no..."

Smith isn't the only one who is in love with the costume. Affleck's wife, actress Jennifer Garner, told Entertainment Tonight that that she has also seen it.

"I've seen the suit. The suit is unbelievably cool. It's a total reinvention. It looks great," she said.

Matt Damon also dished on the cape and cowl telling MTV News that he knows what Affleck looks like decked out in the batsuit.

"I have seen a picture. It's excellent. And I've talked to him about the storyline, and it's great," Damon said.

"Batman Vs. Superman" will be released May 6, 2016.
