Samsung is building hype for its mysterious 'Unpacked 5' event this month, with the latest teaser showing aesthetically arranged icons hinting at a new user interface for Samsung Galaxy S5.

Samsung is known for its 'Unpacked' events that introduce the world to the company's next biggest thing. With several rumors about a Galaxy S5 making the rounds and Samsung planning to host an event this month, strongly point toward a possible launch of the next Galaxy flagship smartphone. The first invitation for the event, posted Feb. 4, gave basic details such as the date and a vague venue along with a superscripted number 5 against the title. But the latest teaser gives away more details emphasizing on the superscripted number 5.

Several reports have given various reasons to believe that the 'Unpacked 5' event will be for the most-awaited Galaxy S5, which is coming early to aid the not-so-successful Galaxy S4 sales. The new poster, revealed through Samsung Tomorrow blog post, Tuesday, shows various icons neatly arranged and carry the number 5 next to their names. The nine new icons featured on the Unpacked 5 event poster include Speed, Outdoor, Curiosity, Fun, Social, Style, Privacy, Fitness and Life.

The new set of icons is likely to be a part of Samsung's new user interface that will debut in the upcoming flagship. Some analysts also believe the TouchWiz interface will be replaced with the company's Magazine UX shown in Samsung's new Pro tablet lineup.

The icons shown in the poster have a round, colorful background with a flat logo and some are labeled health and fitness. The company is also expected to announce the updated version of Galaxy Gear during its Unpacked 5 event, so the inclusion of health apps makes sense.

In a blog post showing the updated event poster, Samsung did not deny or support the rumors about Galaxy S5 making the rounds, but cleverly concluded the post with a quote from Niels Bohr, which reads, "Prediction is very difficult, especially if it's about the future."

Samsung will finally put an end to all the mystery at the main event, Feb. 24, in Barcelona. The event can also be live streamed from YouTube.
