Jennifer Garner might have seen husband Ben Affleck in his Batsuit for "Batman vs. Superman", but Kevin Smith has seen the Man of Steel and Caped Crusader together in action.

Smith discussed latest rumors about the "Man of Steel" sequel on his "Fatman on Batman" podcast on Jan. 20. The director spoke about a photo revealing Affleck's new Batsuit as the actor posed with Superman Henry Cavill.

"He shows me a picture of Batman, a live action version of Batman. A very familiar Batman, I might add," Smith said during the pod cast. "Didn't look like any of the cinematic Batmans that have ever gone before. He shows me that picture, and behind Batman is Superman in the suit, looming in the distance. Both like on a rooftop kind of thing. It was on a set, a little set they put together for this photo suit."

"I'm like 'Oh, my god! That's the suit. The suit looks amazing, man," Smith added. "What did you get people to model it?' He goes, 'That's your boy.' And I look closely, and it's Ben Affleck wearing the suit. The suit is not mine to spill in terms of what it looks like. You'll see it. They'll tell you when they want you to know. But any Batman fan is going to be ****ing pleased. I'm going to tell you that right now." (Listen to the podcast here)

Smith's comments come on the heals of Garner talking Entertainment Weekly about the new Batsuit. Garner was ask if she wanted Affleck to come home with the suit on, to which she jokingly responded no because she wouldn't be able to get it off.

"I've seen the suit," Garner told EW. "The suit is unbelievably cool. It's a total reinvention. It looks great."

The DC film is slated to hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
