The Cape Baldy is back along with trusty follower cyborg Genos in the “One Punch Man” Season 2. Rumors have been rampant regarding what the funny superhero anime series has to offer in its second season. Yet, good news is that the series’ production is already confirmed.

According to Comic Book, a Twitter user under the username of @KenXyro had acquired a confirmation from Shueisha about the status of the “One Punch Man” Season 2. The users were shown a scanned black and white page wherein Ken Xyro had captioned that the production of the Season 2 “is in progress” already.

Regarding its plot, the “One Punch Man” anime series is said to remove mediocre from the known powers from heroes. Yusuke Murata, writer of the manga had made a super hero for fun out of a man named Saitama. Training the normal way with just pushups and stuff, Saitama had garnered the power to beat everything in one punch only, as the title suggests.

Speculations for the “One Punch Man” Season 2, of course, is the return of Saitama’s formidable opponent, Lord Boros who is said to seek revenge in the next season. Another opponent for the Cape Baldy is the Class A Rank 1 hero, Amai Mask.

Amai Mask is then reported to discover Saitama’s weakness and use it to defeat him per Starz Post. Other guesses and theories for “One Punch Man” Season 2 are that Saitama will find a girl that he would later fall in love with. Yet, that girl is mentioned to be the reason that he will lose his power.

Rest assured is that “One Punch Man” Season 2 will totally grace TV screens again. Yet, no release date had been announced or hinted for the anime’s season 2. Just that it is expected to air after the release of its Season 1 DVD.
