“The Seven Deadly Sins” have been a hit since anime before it was released by Netflix. As the first Season in Netflix had finished, fans had been hyped for the second Season. Yet, what Netflix had shown the fans wasn’t quite what they had expected the Season 2 to be.

According to Inquisitr, the issue upon Netflix release of “The Seven Deadly Sins” Season 2 is that they mistook the anime’s OVA, “The Seven Deadly Sins – Signs of Holy War.” Fans of the franchise were then surprised to see only four episode instead of 25.

However, with the mistake made, Netflix hasn’t made any comments yet. Nonetheless, the publication noted that the OVA mistake could serve as a trailer for those who want to watch “The Seven Deadly Sins” Season 2.

On another note, “The Seven Deadly Sins” Season 3 is speculated to feature the manga’s Demon King Saga. Spoilers then include the reveal of seventh sin Lord Escanor, Lion’s sin of pride. Escanor is then mentioned to have his strength in the daylight while he returns to being weak at night per Travelers Today.

Furthermore, Elizabeth is also shown to display her surging power as a Goddess more on “The Seven Deadly Sins” Season 3. The Demon King is also said to appear and a fight with the Archangels was also speculated. Fans would then also learn more about the history of Meliodas and the Ten Commandments.

Regarding the release of the “The Seven Deadly Sins” Season 2 on Netflix, it is still unknown since anime like “Attack on Titan” and “Tokyo Ghoul” takes months to produce. Still, there are no hints or rumors from Netflix, manga creator Nakaba Suzuki or A-1 Pictures.

Rest assured “The Seven Deadly Sins” returning cast would still consist of Yuuki Kaji (Meliodas,) Sora Amamiya (Elizabeth,) Misaki Kuno (Hawk), Aoi Yuki (Diane,) Tatsuhisa Suzuki (Ban,) Jun Fukuyama (King,) Mamoru Miyano (Gilthunder,) Takahiro Sakurai (Griamor,) Ryohei Kimura (Hauser,) Maaya Sakamoto (Merlin,) and Yuuhei Takagi (Gowther.)
