Fans may find themselves in shock after learning that their beloved "Frozen" wasn't supposed to end the way it did. In the original storyline, everything was different from Elsa being a pure evil to the 'sisters' not even sisters and certainly not royals.

According to Us Weekly, "Frozen" was loved and cherished by adult and kids equally. The movie became the highest-grossing animated film of all time, earning a massive $1.276 billion.

However, after four years since the release of "Frozen", producer Peter Del Vecho revealed the original storyline and ending for the movie. This was the initial idea that Disney had in mind for the characters like Elsa and Anna.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Vecho admitted that the beloved Elsa was imagined as a wicked woman. She was nothing like "Frozen" showed and had character similarity with Hans.

"So when we started off, Anna and Elsa were not sisters. They weren't even royal," EW quoted "Frozen" producer Vecho. "So Anna was not a princess. Elsa was a self-proclaimed Snow Queen, but she was a villain and pure evil - much more like the Hans Christian Andersen tale [The Snow Queen]."

Del Vecho added that Elsa became wicked following being stood up at her wedding altar. With her magic, she freezes her own heart in order to save herself from any heartbreak in future. The original "Frozen" also had a prophecy.

It was prophesized that someone with a frozen-heart will destroy Arendelle, so the viewers will naturally believe it to be Elsa. The original "Frozen" had the evil villain as Elsa and innocent heroine as Anna involved in an epic battle at the end. The battle features Elsa's snow monsters army.

Amid the battle scene, undercover antagonist Prince Hans attacks Arendelle, thus revealing he is the villain from the prophecy and not Elsa. This would force Anna to convince Elsa to stop the battle and instead defeat Hans plan with her powers.

Elsa listens to Anna's pleas and finally her frozen heart thaws because of her selfless act, much like in the "Frozen". Del Vecho told EW that the original concept was not approved because Disney felt something was missing.

He stated that the initial storyline was not satisfying enough. The characters were not emotionally connecting and were not relatable. Since then they made changes and produced "Frozen" that was appreciated by the audience big time.
