According to New York Daily Times, the 28-year-old-actress is seen wearing cargo pants and tank top, Angelina Jolie donned in "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider." The iconic dress looks great on Alicia and she is seen with a grim expression on her face, ready to fight an assailant in a forest.

Notably, "Tomb Raider" revolves around the 21-year-old Lara Croft, who is on a mission to search her father, missing for seven years. Her mission takes her to a tomb, located off the Japan coast and that is how all the adventure begins. The official description of "Tomb Raider" says that the stakes could not be higher for Lara, who must learn to push herself above her limits as she readies to journey into the unknown.

Armed with nothing but her sharp mind, blind faith and stubborn spirit, if she survives this dangerous adventure, it could be the making of her and earn her the name Tomb Raider. Well, the fate of Croft would be revealed next year only when "Tomb Raider" arrives in theatres but Alicia Vikander is optimistic and pleased with her role.

In an interview, she said that the goal of the movie is to show the complete journey that Lara Croft takes and it means acknowledging the emotional as well as physical aspects of her evolution. According to Alicia Vikander, audiences meet her as a young woman who is strong but questioning her place in the world. The trials help her hone her skills and finally, she becomes the formidable yet vulnerable woman as the Tomb Raider.

"Tomb Raider" arrives in theatres in March 2018.
