Huawei's sub-brand Honor has started rolling out the Android7.0 Nougat update for its Honor 6X flagship. The company had promised that the Smartphone would receive the Nougat update by Q2 of this year. Huawei has now started to roll out the update build B357 in China.

According to The Android Soul, Huawei Honor 6X is currently running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The Honor 6X Smartphone users in China can now experience the Google's latest update, which will contain amazing new features. The Android 7.0 Nougat update is reported to be rolling out to all four variants of Honor 6X in China - BLN-AL10, BLN-AL20, BLN-TL10 and BLN-TL00.

The Android 7.0 Nougat update for the users who were already running the Android 7.0 Nougat beta build (B351) on their Honor 6X are receiving an OTA update of 259MB with an official firmware build B357. The other users running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based B172 firmware is receiving the update with firmware build B357 that is 2.15GB in size. Also, Huawei is releasing the update in batches and it will take some time to reach the smartphones.

Huawei Honor 6X flagship launched in January sports a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by 1.7GHz octa-core Kirin 655 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The phone is equipped with 64GB of internal storage, which has an option for further expansion up to 128GB via a microSD card.

Huawei Honor 6X features a 12-megapixel primary camera on the rear and an 8-megapixel front camera and packs a 3340mAh non-removable battery. The device has an overall measurement of 150.90 x 72.60 x 8.20mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 162.00 grams.

The dual SIM smartphone both nano-SIM and offers other connectivity option like the Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, FM, 3G, and 4G. The types of sensors that the phone is equipped with are compass magnetometer, proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor and Gyroscope. Stay tuned for more updates.
