According to Neurogadget, Google’s revamped Nexus 7 2017 is set to sport a 7.0 inch AMOLED display along with a high resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The dynamic Google tablet is also rumored to have 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage along with a 2 TB memory expansion option.

As it was given to roll out Android version 7.1.1 Nougat, the tablet is expected to give a smoother Android experience for consumers compared to its predecessors.

Meanwhile, rumors of it having a new operating system (OS) had surfaced as well. The new OS is said to be named Andromeda while some guessed it to be called as Fuchsia OS. Bottom-line is the new OS could possibly be a combination of Android OS and Chromebook OS per BGR.

Tech analyst Daniel Matte then mentioned that “Andromeda, however, will provide a laptop OS with native apps and backward compatibility with Android. It could very well look much the same visually as Chrome OS does now, however.” It was then further mentioned that Andromeda wouldn’t replace Android rather extend its reach and power.

Yet, the Andromeda or Fuchsia as some might want to call it is still a speculation up to now since no confirmations had been made by the tech titan company. As for Google Nexus 7, it was also said that it might not be named after its Nexus lineups, but might be after the Pixel devices’ success.
