The Mini and Pro series of Apple's iPad had been all the rage lately. People had been scouring information about the 2017 Apple iPad lineups. Yet, Apple had been known not reveal  the release dates of its upcoming devices. Fortunately, some rumors and speculations about the iPad Pro 2 and iPad Mini 5 had surfaced the web.

According to Macworld, website Mac Otakara speculated that instead of an iPad Mini Pro, it would be an iPad Mini 5 instead. Speaking about specs, the site also said that the Mini 5 would have Smart Connector, True Tone display along with four speakers, and 12-megapixel rear-facing iSight camera.

TNH Online also added that iPad Mini 5 could have a 7.9-inch Retina display and would have three variants. A 9.7, 10.5 and 12.9 inches variants for the Mini 5 had been speculated by the publication. The devices will be powered by A9 or A10 chips along with the M9 co-processor.

Speaking of the iPad Pro 2, Racing Junky reported that it would go similar to the iPad Mini 5 and would also have three variants. 9.7-inch, 12.9-inch, and a third with either 10.5 or 10.9 inches screen. The iPad Pro 2 is then mentioned to be equipped with a magnetic Apple pencil as well. The tablet is also said to be bezel-less and will don its home button embedded below its display.

The devices would be most likely be announced at an Apple event coming soon as Tim Cook mentioned. The Cupertino-based company event is then mentioned to take place on April 4 at the same month that Apple Park is reported to open per Apple World Today. It was also speculated that the powerhouse iPad lineups would be revealed at the 1,000-seat Steve Jobs Theater.
