NBA Superstar DeMarcus Cousins has just made his move to the New Orleans Pelicans, it turns out that the Pelicans were keen on acquiring Cousins but things have not been going good for them. Cousins was suspended for their game against the Pistons for technical fouls, and things had got worse when the league fined him $50,000 for inappropriate language towards fans.

The forward / center player was known for his temperament and just as when things seemed under control this incident had taken place. The executive Vice President of Basketball Operations Kiki Van De Weghe, made it clear that Cousins needs to pay a $50,000 fine in response to his behavior.

According to CBS Sports, the incident took place during the Pelicans and Los Angeles Lakers match. To make things worse NBA fans have passed around videos of Cousins responding in a "not so good language." This might be a little hard on the Pelicans fans since the video has gone viral on social media.

The league has been strict on Cousins because they cannot have one of their stars cursing the fans. Looking at Cousins track record they could not ignore the fact about his inappropriate language.

On the other hand fans often cross the line when they direct comments towards athletes, possibly Cousins was stuck in one of these situations and he had no option but to respond in a rude manner. It turns out that it was not easy for the NBA superstar to ignore the comments passed directly towards him.

Lakers point guard Damian Lillard took to social media supporting Cousins, he tweeted saying 50k is a lot of money for saying something back to a fan. He further added that he too has had some harsh words thrown out when he was in these situations. At this moment the Pelicans superstar DeMarcus Cousins owes $50,000 to the company.
