'Last Christmas' Singer George Michael Dies at 53

George Michael was one of the best pop stars the world have ever seen. At the same time, he was a legend in the world music too. The heart throbbing pop star has passed away on 25th December 2016.

If you love pop songs and if you were born in the 80s then the name of George Michael is not new to you. The pop singer who started his career with "Wham!" in the early 1980 and is no more. George Michael is one of the best solo performers of all time. When it comes to pop singing, then the artist certainly top the lists. But unfortunately and more shockingly, the British pop star has passed away peacefully during the Christmas season in Goring, Oxfordshire.

The manager of George Michael, Michael Lippman has informed that the pop singer has died due to a heart failure. It is a hugely emotional moment for all of his fans, friends, and his family. Under such circumstances, his family has asked to respect their privacy and they have not made any further comment on this stage.

Michael has become an international icon in the early 1980s when he formed Wham. He performed many popular songs like "Careless Whisper" and " Wake Me Up Before You Go".

Michael's former partner at Wham! Andrew Ridgely also acknowledged his emotions via Twitter. At the same time, he said that Michael will be remembered forever for his music.

George Michael broke up with the "Wham" in 1986. After that, he went on doing different solo performances. As Michael had a very easy stage approach and a very attractive sexual appeal, his popularity went beyond the UK. At the same time, he started to dominate his former pop group as well.

George Michael's life was under the spotlight for last few years. In the year of 2011, he suffered from life-threatening pneumonia and he survived that narrowly. After that, he informed that he is a completely new man and has become spiritual as well. But his death on the Christmas of 2016 has taken many people and the social media by shock. Most of the people in the social media have paid him a good tribute as well.
