The Boston Celtics and Sacramento Kings are two teams that have been frequently being mentioned in trade rumors as of late. Both teams want to have tweaks on their lineup in order to compete with other teams. Now, a rumored deal is being suggested to the Celtics and Kings that involves Rudy Gay and Isaiah Thomas as part of the alleged deal before the trade deadline.

The Celtics is one of the teams that's been busy exploring and shopping players that is available in the trade market. Many believe that they are not yet satisfied with their current roster and wants to reinforce it in order to compete with powerhouse teams like the defending champs Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors.

On the other hand, the Kings organization and Gay already have a rift since the start of the season. Gay already announced that he will leave the Kings at the end of the season due to frustration with the current situation of the team. With that in mind, the Kings are seriously considering of trading him instead rather lose him for nothing.

And now, a proposed trade deal is being recommended to the Kings and Celtics that involves 5 players. Trade scenario is saying that the Boston Celtics will welcome Rudy Gay and Willie Cauley-Stein in their fold. Meanwhile, Isaiah Thomas, Tyler Zeller and Jonas Jerebko will be heading West to join the Sacramento Kings.

Some say that the trade deal appears to be reasonable for both teams. The Celtics will have Gay's offensive firepower that will boost their offense while they can use Cauley-Stein as an added inside defensive player to toughen up their interior defense.

On the other hand, the Kings will welcome Thomas again whom they drafted as 60th overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft. Now, with enough experience, Thomas will be paired again with DeMarcus Cousin and their tandem might give the Kings another breath of life. Meanwhile, Jerebko and Zeller will fill in the gap that Cauley-Stein will be vacated on the Kings' lineup.

Boston.com have also reported earlier the notion that the Celtics are really considering of trading Isaiah Thomas. Some comments are saying that the Celtics are a better team without Thomas and he's just an overrated player. However, Celtics coach Brad Stevens have denied such accusation to Thomas and he'll take him every time he is available.

With such statement by coach Stevens, are the Boston Celtics will still consider of trading Isaiah Thomas to the Sacramento Kings for Rudy Gay before the trade deadline?
