Brooklyn Nets center Brook Lopez has been the subject of numerous trade deal the past few months. And it seems that the Nets are willing to release him and likely trade him to the Milwaukee Bucks for Greg Monroe before the February trade deadline.

Lopez was previously linked to being traded to the Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls, Denver Nuggets and Charlotte Hornets. However, none of those rumored deals have ever happened. Though Lopez is putting up remarkable figures of 20.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game, his production didn't translate wins for the Nets.

Same goes to Monroe, who has also been the hot topic of rumor mills for quite some time. Last season, he is averaging 15.3 points, 8.8 rebounds and 0.8 blocks per game as a starter for the Bucks. But this season, his production drops to 9.3 points, 6.5 rebounds and 0.5 blocks and part of the reason is because he was relegated by Bucks coach Jason Kidd to the bench.

Now, with both teams needing to tweak their lineup, a rumored deal was floated online and in current discussion with the fans. A proposed trade deal was recommended to the Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets involving 3 players and a future draft pick. Trade scenario is suggesting as follows:

1. The Milwaukee Bucks will acquire Brook Lopez from the Nets;

2. The Brooklyn Nets will then get Greg Monroe and Rashad Vaughn plus the 2018 first-round draft pick from the Bucks.

The trade is said to be reasonable and beneficial for both teams. Some say that Lopez would be a great fit to the Bucks as one of the best offensive center in the league. Though rebounding is one of his weakness, Lopez will be an added inside presence as a rim protector for the Bucks.

On the other hand, having Monroe will likely give the Nets what they are already getting from Lopez. This could also be an opportunity also for Monroe to get enough quality minutes and prove his worth to the Nets. Meanwhile, Vaughn would be an added depth for the Nets in the backcourt and future pick could be a steal from them.

The trade will also work under the NBA trade rules as per checking with ESPN NBA Trade Machine and will be given a go signal by the league official. Thus, the Milwaukee Bucks and the Brooklyn Nets have to decide whether to push this deal or not before the trade deadline.
