Historical drama and action-adventure series from the History network, Vikings, is about to air another episode for the fourth season and even though its roughly a week from now, fans are already updating themselves through several speculations that appeared online.

From a report on TV Guide, it was previously reported that the show's main character, Ragnar Lothbrok, portrayed by actor, Travis Fimmel, was facing something that might put an end to his life. Things were not looking good for the Viking at the moment, basing on the previous episode of Vikings Season 4.

It can be recalled that Ragnar and Ivar the Boneless were stuck and stranded on an island where they could possibly die. It was speculated that part of Ragnar's plan was to turn himself in. But fans are really not sure if this is just a part of the plan and what he really has in mind is to kill everyone.

This has made some viewers speculate that the legendary Viking might not be seen in the next season anymore. However, according to Blasting News, Ragnar is going to live and even reported that an unexpected turn of events will be seen in the upcoming episodes of the Vikings Season 4.

According to the report, Linus Roache's character, King Ecbert of Wessex and Ragnar's encounter will interest the viewers. This is apparently because King Ecbert will concede to him, which indeed makes the episode intriguing.

The source also reported that Lagartha, played by actress Katheryn Winnick, will finally be fulfilling her ambition. Fans are not sure yet on what this might be but it was revealed that the character will finally get what she always wanted.

Meanwhile, rumors about actor Travis Fimmel leaving Vikings have no truth at all. It was confirmed by the show's producer and writer, Michael Hirst, that Fimmel will reprise his role on the next seasons of the series. This also debunked rumors about the death of Ragnar.

Vikings Season 4 episode 14 titled 'In The Uncertain Hour Before The Morning', is set to air on December 21, 2016 on History.
