Trade rumors are dragging Milwaukee Bucks forward/center Greg Monroe once again in the limelight. After being not in the hot seat of rumor mills for a couple of weeks, Monroe finds himself again under the discussion of trade deals. And it seems that the Bucks already got a trade partner for him, none other the Dallas Mavericks with Andrew Bogut and Devin Harris as trade pieces.

Monroe knows that he is under fire since the Bucks management and coach Jason Kidd decide to place him on the bench after being a starter last season. He is only just averaging 8.8 points, 6.9 rebounds and 0.6 blocks per game this season which a big letdown from his last year performance.

Now, it seems that it is only of time and Monroe could be heading to his new home. According to The Inquisitr, a rumored deal between the Milwaukee Bucks and Dallas Mavericks are seriously being discussed by both teams right now. Trade scenario is suggesting that the Bucks will send Greg Monroe plus a future second-round draft pick to the Mavericks in exchange for Andrew Bogut and Devin Harris.

The report further breakdowns the benefits the trade brought into both teams. Greg Monroe for Andrew Bogut is simply a straight swap for both teams however both players will bring different variety to a team.

Having Monroe will give the Mavericks an offensive-minded player who can score on a post up play or find an open teammate who can shoot outside. Meanwhile, Bogut will be an added inside presence for the Bucks to toughen up their interior defense while Harris, who once a dependable player, could find his old touch as a backup point guard to Giannis Antetokounmpo and Matthew Dellavedova.

On a separate report by Christian Post, Monroe's weakness on the defensive end was partly being blamed for his demotion on Bucks' lineup. It would be better if he will bring his talent to an another team who badly needs an offensive player and seems that the Mavs could use him.

On the other hand, Bogut could be reunited with his former team who drafted him as the 1st overall pick in 2005. Aside from that, Bogut's contract will expire after the season which means the Bucks have the option to re-sign him (if he'll perform well) or let him go to free some cap space and to entice a high-caliber free agent next summer.

Are the Milwaukee Bucks decided to trade Greg Monroe to the Dallas Mavericks for Andrew Bogut and Devin Harris?
