The Sacramento Kings are fighting hard to have a decent performance this season. However, they continue to struggle and stumble to three straight losses giving them a 7-13 record relegating them to the 11th spot of Western Conference division. Now, the Kings are said to be ready to trade Rudy Gay to the Oklahoma City Thunder before the trade deadline.

Gay, who've been a familiar name in the rumor mills the past few months, is said to be available and just waiting to be traded by the Kings. Though the Kings management has not publicly confirmed the situation of Gay, many believe that they are just looking a viable trade offer for him.

On the other hand, reports by Sir Charles In Charge are saying that despite the Oklahoma City Thunder being mum about Gay's situation, they are keeping their interest in him in spite of failure in getting him in previously rumored trade deals.

The Thunder badly needs an additional wing that could help them in their current campaign and support Russell Westbrook carry the load on the offensive end. And having Gay would probably solve their problem and could somehow fill in the spot Kevin Durant have vacated. Gay is putting an impressive number as of late averaging 19.4 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game this season.

And with the Thunder still showing interest to acquire Gay, a proposed trade deal is being suggested to the Thunder and Kings and might be discussed in the coming days. Trade scenario is suggesting as follows:

1. The Oklahoma City Thunder will acquire Rudy Gay and Ben McLemore from the Kings;

2. The Sacramento Kings will then receive Cameron Payne, Alex Abrines, Andre Roberson and Kyle Singler.

The Thunder will get a player that they wish for in Gay aside from getting an additional support at the shooting guard spot in McLemore. Though McLemore is not productive so far, many believe that he can show his full potential by giving him enough playing minutes and that could happen in Oklahoma.

Meanwhile, the Kings will get additional help from the point guard spot with Payne while Abrines will be a backup for Afflalo at the shooting guard position. Aside from that, getting Roberson will give them an added defensive player while Singler is an added depth in the frontcourt.

Will the trade works under NBA trade rules and salary cap restriction? Yes. As per checking with ESPN NBA Trade Machine, the trade deal is legal and will be approved by league officials.
