Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War is drawing ever closer. With upcoming standalone films such as Thor: Ragnarok and Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 coming out firsthand, it would be safe to make assumptions that the character pool for the upcoming superhero epic movie will be even bigger than we can already imagine.

Right now, there still hasn't been any confirmed list of characters that will be appearing in Avengers: Infinity War. The only thing that Marvel fans have right now, is the joy and excitement of speculating whether which of their favorite MCU characters will make the cut.

Kevin Feige Spoils Fans

President of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige has mentioned in a recent interview that there will be so many characters, including two characters that he is really looking forward to having an interaction are Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.).

Although the two characters' interaction is pretty much a done deal, Feige also encourages fans to think wider when speculating which other Marvel characters will be appearing in "Avengers: Infinity War."

What to Expect

According to Feige, within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there are already so many characters that could have a natural affinity for each other. This would make for some hilarious-yet-awesome scenes.

This was already experienced in Captain America: Civil War. Feige also alluded to the Avengers: Infinity War main villain, Thanos is having other motivations and agenda aside from the main one of what has already been made known in his classic comic book storyline.

When asked if he is, at all, concerned about the future of the Avengers franchise after Infinity War would conclude, Feige says that he thinks it's very much possible to have more Marvel films. They could also delve into the idea of creating more interesting combinations of Marvel characters in the future.
