The large list of projected superheroes heading to fight in Avengers: Infinity War is growing even more, and just recently another hero seems to have been confirmed to return to the big screen. Though this may not seem as a surprise, Hawkeye (portrayed by Jeremy Renner) has officially confirmed that he will be back for the upcoming Avengers movie.

Hawkeye Confirmed for Infinity War

Recently interviewed, Jeremy Renner didn't exactly give anything away, but with two years to go before Infinity War's will be hitting the big screen, fans are holding on to any teasers that they can get no matter how small or vague it may be.

Infinity War is going to be epic

"It's going to be a very long fun run with some big, big groups of people," Jeremy said. With about 67 characters confirmed to be involved in the movie, he is definitely not kidding. "There are a few things that I do know and I can't tell you, but it's going to be epic for all characters involved," he added.

Characters confirmed

So, who will Hawkeye be joining? As seen in many teasers, Josh Brolin's Thanos will be taking on a starring role, and directors have also confirmed Chris Hemsworth's Thor, Chris Pratt's Star-Lord and Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch.

Dr. Strage will also make an appearance

Benedict Cumberbatch also recently revealed that Doctor Strange will also be making his appearance, though he will not be taking any sides in the upcoming conflict. "I think Doctor Strange has to be Team Doctor Strange," Benedict said in an interview. "His job title is a defender of the fabric of reality."

Other confirmed characters

Brie Larson's much-anticipated Captain Marvel role will also be making her debut, and there have been some strong hints suggesting that Bradley Cooper's Rocket Raccoon and the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy will also be making an appearance.
