Sony recently has released their new Concept for Android for Xperia X which is based on the latest version of Android OS i.e. 7.0 Nougat. The update will also include the November Android security in it.

Japanese company Sony has started the rollout of Android 7.0 Nougat concept to Xperia X for single SIM model, about a week ago. It has promised users to keep the updates coming until the final version will be launched in general.

With the release of Android 7.0 concept update for Xperia X many new features and improvements are being included in the phone and Sony confirmed that the update also adds the latest November security patch.

The latest update firmware version available is 38.1.A.0.342, which is about 223MB in size. So that is not a heavy sized update, and also it should not take too long to download and install.

According to Sony, the update contains a new Home that has some issues with icon packs, that means in case if you have added an icon pack in the past you must remove it from Home settings. For doing so, you have to switch to default before updating to this version of Android 7.0 Nougat.

The latest Android 7.0 Nougat concept for Xperia X comes with build number 38.1.A.0.342 (NBD91K4). Sony has also added support for X-Reality in the phone's Album apps whereas the Xperia Transfer and Xperia Home apps have also been updated with new versions in the new update.

In the new update there is also a updated driver for the fingerprint sensor, new versions of Xperia Home and Xperia Transfer will be added too.

According to PhoneArena, there are still some bugs present in the previous build have been addressed in the update, like the issue related with FM Radio along with Noise Cancelling headset. Also, a fix for Camera not available "ok Google" related has been deployed as well.

Latest version of Android Nougat has a split-screen multitasking capabilities and a new notification panel. That version's camera has manual shutter speed control and it also has ISO control, so it can be manually controlled at 23MP. It also has the latest type of Stamina Mode and  an improved touch sensitivity capability.
