NBA trade rumors to Philadelphia 76ers big man Jahlil Okafor are never ending. From the start of the offseason up until now, his name was always being dragged to rumor mills every now and then. This time around, a new rumored deal is saying that he could be heading to the Chicago Bulls with Denzel Valentine and Nikola Mirotic as trade pieces.

Recent reports on NBA trade rumors have linked Okafor being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, Washington Wizards, Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors. However, none of those rumored deals didn't happen and just fades away in circulation. But new reports are speculating that any moment from now he could be on a new team.

A proposed deal between the Bulls and 76ers is said on discussion right now and might happen anytime soon. Trade scenario is suggesting that the Philadelphia 76ers will send Jahlil Okafor to the Chicago Bulls in exchange for Denzel Valentine and Nikola Mirotic.

The trade proposal is a legal deal and it works under the NBA trade rules and salary cap policy set by the league as per checking to ESPN NBA Trade Machine. Okafor who is averaging 10.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks while playing only 15.7 minutes per game is efficient wise when he is on the court. It could also be a homecoming for the 20-years old Okafor who is a Chicago native.

As reported by Hoops Habit, trading Jahlil Okafor to the Chicago Bulls could be realistic given that he is from Chicago and many believe that he wants to play for his hometown like LeBron James did when he went back to Cleveland and Dwayne Wade also coming home to Chicago.

The report further cited that Bulls general manager Gar Forman already declared that he wanted to course the Bulls to be a younger and more athletic team. And having Okafor would precisely give them what they wish for and be a future player for them.

As for the 76ers, acquiring Mirotic, who is shooting 31.5% in the three point area for a big man like him, could help them space the floor for more opportunities for his teammates. While Valentine is a rookie that many says have the potential to become better once he gained experience in the league.

Will the Philadelphia 76ers agree to release Jahlil Okafor to the Chicago Bulls for Nikola Mirotic and Denzel Valentine?
