NBA trade rumors continue to headline the NBA league nowadays and still gaining its steam even the regular season already started. Now, it is claiming a new victim Utah Jazz point guard George Hill and he is said to be heading to the New York Knicks to join forces with Derrick Rose.

Hill, who has a remarkable stint with the Indiana Pacers, was surprisingly traded by the Pacers to the Jazz in a 3-team deal with the Atlanta Hawks during offseason. However, the move makes Hill more developed as a player and now putting impressive numbers as Utah Jazz starting point guard.

With his significant showing in Utah, it seems that he got the attention of the Knicks in the process. According to Jobs & Hire, with Hill hitting the free agency in 2017, the New York Knicks is setting their eyes on him and they believe he is the answer to their woes in point guard spot.

The latest NBA trade rumors also suggest that the Knicks are still figuring out their roster as they are finding the right spot for Derrick Rose and Brandon Jennings. Both Rose and Jennings are acquired last summer and should be their assigned point guards for the season. However, a recent experiment by Knicks coach Jeff Hornacek reveals that both players are better off being shooting guards.

And if both players will continue to have a good showing, it makes sense to acquire a true point guard. Hill will bring in his averages of 20.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and 4.9 assists in 7 games this season and that could be a big boost for the offense of the Knicks. However, it seems that Jazz will not let go Hill that easy.

According to Bleacher Report, the Utah Jazz is deemed to give Hill an extension contract following his impressive showing in the early going of the season. One analyst is saying that Hill will be 'Utah's priority' before he becomes a free agent.

The Jazz is considering Hill's vast experience as a veteran and been thru playoffs for many seasons in the Pacers. Letting go of him is like giving up a reliable and steady player and the Jazz should not be surprised if many teams will target Hill once he opts out with them.

Will George Hill opt out with the Utah Jazz and heads towards the New York Knicks this offseason?
