Starz's drama television series, Outlander, has been announced for a renewed Season 3 in June this year. Following this, several spoilers and rumors have been circulating online about the possible events that will possibly occur on the upcoming season premiere.

It has been speculated that fans and followers of the drama series may have to wait a little longer before they can see their favorite charaters again. Nevertheless, several rumors and updates are heating up online for the fans.

According to International Business Times, the upcoming third and fourth season of the Starz drama series will adapt the third and fourth novel of the Outlander novels titled Voyager and Drums of Autumn. The upcoming season will reportedly start with the Battle of Culloden. James 'Jamie' Fraser, portrayed by Sam Heughan, will be seen surviving the battle and goes on with his life even without Claire.

Claire Randall/Fraser, portrayed by Caitriona Balfe, will find out that she is pregnant with Jamie's child and this will cause conflict with her husband, Tobias Menzies' character, Frank Randall. Jamie Fraser will apparently have some other relationships which will also cause dispute with Claire when they reunite. The main character's reunion will reportedly be the highlight of the season, as per the source.

The upcoming third season of Outlander will also give viewers more actions according to the series' showrunner, Ronald Moore. During an interview with Vanity Fair, more actions with the scenes is what Moore is looking forward to.

He said, "The first two seasons of Outlander were really different from one another, and the third season is really different yet again." The producer added that the upcoming season will be like a whole different show once again.

Meanwhile, multiple reports have been claiming that the series' main cast, Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe migh tbe dating in real life. Reports indicate that fans have been curious to the real relationship status of the two since both of them had discreetly expressed their likes with each other off set.

The 36-year old hunk had once revealed that he had been showing his affections with an unnamed woman but he was apparently turned down. Fans have been wondering if the two lead casts are not just lovers on the series but on real life as well, especially that both of them are reportedly single at the moment. 

However, the speculations about them dating have not yet been confirmed by either parties and fans of the two are just waiting for their official announcements soon. 

Outlander Season 3 is likely to air in April 2017 on Starz.
