Fans of The Bachelor couple, Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell, freaked out when the reality television couple had announced that they were cancelling their upcoming wedding just this week.

It was eventually a trending topic and fans could not hide their curiosity through posting on social media and asking both of the stars about the details of their current relationship, and whether they ended their marriage for good or if it was just a temporary postponement.

On Tuesday, during an episode of the couple's reality show, Happily Ever After, which is primarily focused on the lovers' walking-down-the-aisle moment, Higgins and Bushnell undergo couple's therapy, and the former admitted to his wife-to-be that he plans to postpone their wedding for now, according to a report from ET Online.

The 28-year old reality star had emotionally told Bushnell that she is the woman of his dreams and rushing important things with her like tying the knot is the last thing that he would like to do. He reportedly felt that he needed more time to be comfortable with her and to think about their upcoming lives together.

Because of this, many have thought that they might head for an actual breakup real soon. Rumors have it that the postponement of their upcoming wedding due to what happened on their therapy session might trigger the split of the reality couple, just like what has been happening with a lot of celebrity couples in Hollywood.

However, according to Cosmopolitan, Higgins stated that the wedding was put on hold because time is what he needs at the moment, adding that they don't have to live up to the expectations of the people around them, especially the fact that they started off on the ABC reality show.

Ben Higgins also said that he did not regret anything he had said during the couple's therapy session because it reportedly helped them to decide further on the steps needed to be taken into their relationship.
