Ke$ha recently entered rehab to deal with an eating disorder, and amid rumors that the singer is having major friction with her label and Dr. Luke, her mother recently spoke out to Radar Online about her post-rehab plans, declaring that her daughter "doesn't want to make stupid pop music anymore."

Most recently, the 26-year-old star released her first self-directed music video for her song "Dirty Love," though she used the demo track instead of the album version featuring the legendary Iggy Pop as she "had no legal right to use the album version," as a source recently revealed, adding: "She's fighting to break free from her controlling label boss Dr. Luke, so she made a video of a rock song to defy him. She wanted [her sophomore album] 'Warrior' to be a rock album. He was the one who insisted on dance and electro songs."

Pebe Serbert echoed the insider's sentiments in an exclusive interview with Radar Online, insisting that Ke$ha would rather make "music that is meaningful to her" instead of creating more radio-friendly Top 40 hits as she did with her smash debut, "Animal."

"If she needs to stay longer than 30 days, she will. She's trying to get her career back," Sebert, who is also a musician and has co-written with her daughter, said of her Ke$ha's rehab stint. "She wants to do the music she cares about...the music she wants to do. 'Tik Tok' was really her. But she was like 20 and now she's almost 27 and over it. She writes amazing, beautiful ballads as good as Bob Dylan...deep, meaningful songs, and they never see the light of day."

"She doesn't want to be forced to make stupid pop music," she continued. "Who knows, maybe she'll do blue grass. Whatever she wants to do! She should have the right to choose. The people she's working with don't even want her opinion."
