Conor McGregor is an established MMA fighter from the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He is currently the Featherweight and Lightweight champion and the most popular competitor as of now in UFC. But now, rumors are saying that aside from the UFC he is also set to appear at WrestleMania next year.

McGregor is well-known for being a cocky fighter in the UFC by scaring his opponent by trash talking and arrogant approach before and during a fight. Could that style work when he will be stepping in the WWE ring and face the fearless fighters of WWE?

According to Newstalk 106-108 FM, when Conor McGregor fight Eddie Alvarez in UFC 205 and defeated him for the Lightweight belt, one of surprising spectator is WWE's Executive Vice-President Paul Levesque also known as Triple H. The attendance of Triple H seems to be a hint that the WWE production is hooking up with McGregor for an appearance in a WWE event.

The report also says that one MMA columnist exposed that the WWE management is making a big step in reaching out to McGregor and lure him to appear on WrestleMania in April 2017. Though the journalist made it clear that there is still no deal at the moment, he insists that McGregor and WWE might be talking it right now.

It's been a while that the UFC and WWE are being linked together and seems to be promoting each other since Brock Lesnar breakthrough from a professional wrestling to a mixed martial fighter. But this time, it's the another way around McGregor from MMA to pro wrestling.

In a recent report by Sportsrageous, with this impending one-off appearance of Conor McGregor, who could be the perfect opponent for "The Notorious" Irishman? The answer is no other Roman Reigns. It should be recalled that McGregor once called out the whole WWE roster on Twitter and the one who responds to him is Reigns.

And many believed that their awaited match up might happen in WrestleMania 33 on Orlando, Florida. Many are also saying that the UFC will lend Conor to the WWE as payback to Brock Lesnar's appearance in UFC 200.

Will the match between Conor McGregor and Roman Reigns will happen at WrestleMania 33?
