Huawei, the Chinese tech giant launched its third variant of Mate 9 flagship. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is only launched for the Chinese tech market as per now. Huawei Mate 9 Pro is reported to be a Porche Design Mate 9 without Porsche branding.

According to India Today, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro is simply a more affordable Mate 9 Porsche Design with similar specs to take over the market of unfortunate flagship Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and other rivals as well.

The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has all-metal unibody design, curved 2.5D glass on the front, 5.5-inch 2K Quad HD AMOLED display used in the Porsche Design Mate 9 in the front, thus giving it a finest aesthetic appeal.

Huawei Mate 9 Pro is powered with its own developed Octa core Kirin 960 processor clubbed with ARM Mali-G71 MP8 GPU. The device will run on Android 7.0 Nougat OS and the Google's new Nougat OS is one of the main criteria which boom the sales of the smartphone.

Huawei Mate 9 Pro comes with either 4GB or 6GB RAM and internal storage options of 64GB & 128GB and the device is powered by a 4,000mAh battery which supports quick charge technology.

The device also featurs the same camera set-up as seen in the Huawei Mate 9 and Mate 9 Porshe design i.e. Huawei Mate 9 Pro comes with a dual-camera setup on the rear with one 20-megapixel f/2.2 monochrome and another 12-megapixel f/2.2 RGB sensor.

The rear camera has amazing capabilities like the optical image stabilization, a 4-in-1 hybrid autofocus (laser, phase-detect, depth, and contrast detection), recording of 4K videos and a dual-tone dual-LED flash. The front face of the smartphone holds an 8MP camera with f/1.9 aperture and autofocus features.

According to Android Central, the amazingly made Huawei Mate 9 Pro is already on sale in China. The smartphone is available in gold, grey and pink colors. An official statement is reported and more updates on its expansion in the other tech markets is yet to be received.

The Mate 9 Pro was launched on Monday, November 14th at Huawei's press conference held in Shanghai. "The Mate 9 Pro delivers the performance and experience consumers are looking for, while offering a unique and exciting design."
