NBA trade rumors are starting to swirl around again to Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson. Reports are saying that a possible deal between the Warriors and the Boston Celtics starts to loom and might be a big headline in the coming days.

Thompson became the hot topic for the past few weeks after beginning the season on a slump most especially on the three-point line where he is one the best last season. Many say that his subpar performance was connected to Kevin Durant's arrival in the Dub City and was intimidated by KD's presence.

Though Thompson already cleared that it is nothing to do with Durant and it is just the same thing he had experience last season, many pundits are speculating that the 'super team' the Warriors build in the offseason will not work and it is better to break while it is early in the season.

And now, it seems that the Warriors and the Celtics are secretly working on a trade deal this early and it might happen anytime soon according to The Inquisitr. The proposed deal is saying that the Warriors will send both shooting guard Klay Thompson and Patrick McCaw to the Celtics in exchange for guard Avery Bradley, forward Amir Johnson and a 2018 first-round draft pick of Boston (via Brooklyn).

And as per checking with ESPN NBA Trade machine, the deal works under the NBA trade rule and salary cap parameter making it legal in the viewpoint of the NBA officials. But looking at it closely, the Warriors seems to be on the losing end of this deal. Though Bradley is a decent player, he is far from Klay Thompson's status while Johnson is an added baggage for the Warriors with PF spot.

By adding a scoring leader and a perfect transition player who can the run the floor, the Celtics will be the biggest winner in this trade if ever the trade pushes thru according to Sportsrageous. But there's a possibility that the Warriors may pull off the plug on this deal and cancel it seeing that there's too much to give up for a talented player like Thompson that will put their season in jeopardy.

Will the Boston Celtics be able to convince the Golden State Warriors to give up Klay Thompson? Keep tuning in for the latest NBA trade rumors, news and updates.
