After Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt divorce, the couple has recently reached an agreement about the custody of their six children. The actress has got the sole custody of the children and Pitt will have to make do with visitations rights.

Brangelina kids i.e. Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne will be living with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt can meet them regularly once he is granted visitation rights, reports Inquisitr. According to the rep of the actress, childcare professionals encouraged a legal agreement which was accepted and signed by both the parents. The agreement allows Pitt regular visits but the children will stay with their mother.

The rep refused to give out details of the agreement, saying that they are not in a position to do so. However, they said that they believe that both the sides are committed to the healing of the family and requested the media to consider the difficult times that the family is going through. Notably, the custody of the six children holds immense significance in the divorce battle between the couple and has been the focal point of their separation.

In fact, the divorce case is said to be the result of Pitt's violent behavior towards the kids and his substance abuse. It is said that it was his aggressive altercation with teenage son Maddox on their private jet that led Jolie to file for divorce. The matter is still being investigated by DCFS and they have expanded the ambit of their probe, claims The Huffington Post.

As for Pitt, he has denied the allegations of child abuse and sources close to the actor say that he will continue to fight for his kids. The fact that he had filed for joint physical and legal custody of the children makes it clear that he is very close to his children and would not give up easily.

Interestingly, a while back it had been reported that two of the kids- Pax and Shiloh do not want to live with their mother and have been requesting her to let them go and stay with their father, Pitt.
