Despite bad times for South Korean electronics giant Samsung, there's some hopeful news finally. But it has nothing to do with Galaxy Note 7. As you know, Note 7 production has been permanently shut by Samsung due to its exploding battery issues.

After a varied number of battery explosions and even inducing damage to great extent, it was only inevitable for the manufacturer to end to it once and for all. With losses resulting in billions of dollars, Samsung are still pinning their hopes on sales for their current flagship smart phones Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.

But when it's a flagship smartphone, it better contain the latest software right? Yep, now with the latest Nougat OS being made available for partners, it was only time till all the manufacturers got on their heels and started implementing the same in their smart phones.

Even in spite of Samsung dominating their share of the Android smartphone market, what is frustrating is that it takes Samsung so long to bring in latest android operating system to their devices. While we hope for things to change for Samsung in terms of bringing out updates to their flagship smart phones, it would still take some time for the firm to implement the latest Nougat OS.

While Samsung has been like that in the past, we do have some interesting news to note that some South Korean Samsung users are now apparently beta-testing the Nougat based ROMs on some galaxy devices like the Note 5. This report comes from Neuro gadget where it is mentioned that the phone is now being tested for the aforementioned purposes even in China.

While this is definitely some optimistic news for Samsung loyalists, it is now only a matter of waiting time till the latest Samsung smart phones to see the latest software finally making its way. If these are all finally being aced up to make sure Samsung aren't really embarrassed anymore regarding their ill structured update schedule for their phones, we can now only hope that Samsung finally have realized to turn over their trend of releasing updates as soon as it's made available by Google.
