Android 7.0 Nougat update roll out has been planned for a number of Motorola device owners around the world by the company. The update has already been rolled out for two devices in India - Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus.

In fact, Android 7.0 Nougat upgrade for Moto G4 and G4 Plus has already started worldwide and not just India. Neurogadget reports that the testing of the new Android operating system on Moto G4 Plus has already begun in Brazil.

Android 7.0 Nougat for Motorola devices, especially Moto G4 and G4 Plus is expected to hit other big markets in the coming weeks. However, the decision has been made to roll out the update early in India because of just one reason - it has the second largest number of Motorola users around the world.

Moreover, Moto G4 is a huge success in the country and became quickly popular among the Moto fans within days of its launch. This could be the reason why the company decided to forward Android 7.0 Nougat update for Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus in India earlier than any other market.

The update is also likely to affect the Moto Z devices in November as well. According to International Business Times, the Android 7.0 Nougat update will be released for a multitude of Motorola phones, including Moto X, Moto Droid and Moto E phones.

The new Android OS brings with itself a number of exciting new features, including split-screen mode and an option to clear all apps using a simple shortcut. However, the new notification system remains one of the most popular features.

This feature allows notifications from multiple apps to be viewed on the home screen itself. Moreover, the user can reply or respond to those notifications without actually opening the app. The split-screen mode also allows the users to view multiple Chrome tabs.
