The Apple Watch Nike+ is noisy in every way a watch should be. The moment people see it, they become immediately drawn to the bright yellow circles embellishing the watchband. It's matched perfectly by a custom face that tries to motivate wearers with quick Nike-esque slogans like "Are We Running Today?"

The Apple Watch Nike+ is not subtle. It just isn't designed to be. That's the job of the standard Apple Watch, to be part of everyday life, to be there when needed.

This latest collaboration between Apple and Nike released on the 10th anniversary of the original Nike+ team up has the purpose to motivate people. Just like an enthusiastic personal trainer wearing a brightly colored jumpsuit tapping his client on the shoulder and asking if he/she is planning to get off his/her lazy butt.

This device is just not for everyone, as the companies will probably be the first to admit. Instead, this watch is targeted at two key demographics - regular runners and aspirational ones. It grants a reasonably large group of people, though.

Motivation is at the heart of the Apple Watch Nike+, from activity reminders to the band design that is a bit like wearing a FitBit. When you look down you see a constant reminder to really need to work out more.

With this fancy watch, it can set run parameters by speed, distance and time. If swiped right, users see "When are we running?" screen that lets them schedule a future run.

It's also featured with a handy weather icon and temperature listing that is telling you what you're getting yourself into. And since, whether plays a key role in the life of runners in general, it's also a very important part of the app.

The application features motivational slogans like "Don't let a couple of drops drop you," as a way of teasing you about the other day when it was raining.

The app for Apple Watch Nike+ allows to check metrics, the number of runs completed and the total miles. There's a bunch more things to see or do in the full app. The most interesting is the Club tab, the place where you can connect with and compete against friends and other people in person and/or virtually.

The app gives more motivation since leaderboards can be seen into the watch interface, so wearers may know how much further is need to run to catch up with the next person on the list.

The bright screen is extremely easy to read because of Nike's customary giant neon font. And all of the characteristics mentioned in this article are backed by standard Apple Watch features at the same price as a standard version of the watch. That is $369 for the 38mm version and $399 for 42mm.

The time was clearly perfect for this two corporate giants to resurrect their partnership for this latest device. The Apple Watch Series 2 is a generally more well-rounded fitness device featured by the addition of stuff like onboard GPS that syncs up Bluetooth headphones so to go for a long run without having to bring along the phone.

The new Apple Watch Nike+ is available to buy in stores from October 28.
