The Chicago Bears and Cleveland Browns are two of the teams in the current season who's been struggling as of the moment. The Bears are holding a 1-6 record while the Browns have a 0-7 record both are at the bottom of the NFC and AFC division respectively.

The Bears have one of the worst offense 15.9 points scored (32nd) and defense 24.1 points allowed (20th) that needs improvement. As for the Browns, aside from a bad record, they are bug with injury most especially on the QB spot.

After Robert Griffin III was ruled out the whole season (and maybe his career is also over) due to a shoulder injury, it was the turn of Josh McCown and Cody Kessler to be sidelined by injuries also. That only leaves rookie QB Kevin Hogan to make the play for the Brown but his inexperience was shown during their loss to the Cincinnati Bengals last Sunday. And this gives them the idea to make a trade deal on both sides.

According to Sportsrageous, there are talks that the 33-year old Bears QB could be heading to the Browns and might sign him next summer. Cutler lost his spot as the starting QB for the Bears when he injured his thumb. Cutler was replaced by 8-year journeyman Brian Hoyer as a starter for 5 games already but it doesn't do wonders for the team.

The report also says that Cutler is very open to moving on to other teams if ever Bears coach John Fox will not bring back his starting role as a QB. Coach Fox was also heard saying to his friends that his "done" with Cutler after the season.

In a separate report by FOXSports, if ever Cutler will be dealt with the Browns it said that the Bears will receive Brown CB Joe Haden and a second-round pick. Though Cutler is not younger anymore and past his prime but the Browns need a veteran like him to stabilize their offense.

As for Browns, they could make good use of the 2-time Pro Bowler Haden who is regarded as one of the best cornerbacks in the league today.

Will the Chicago Bears release Jay Cutler to the Cleveland Browns?
