Philadelphia 76ers Nerlens Noel has been the darling of the trade rumors for the past few months. For so many times he's been linked to numerous trade deals that involve the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Clippers and just recently to the Golden State Warriors.

During the offseason he was quoted saying that their situation in Philadelphia is "silly" and "there's something to be done" heating up speculations that he wants to be traded. But he immediately clears his statement to the reporters that he is not asking the team to trade him.

The situation Noel was pertaining is having the team a three starting centers in the lineup and many believe that his statement has put him by the Sixers on the trading block. And now, rumors are spreading that this might be the right time for him to be shifted.

According to Sportsrageous, the Sixers and the Minnesota Timberwolves are said to be discussing a possible deal that will send Noel to the Timberwolves in exchange for sophomore guard Tyus Jones. Jones, coming from Duke, was originally drafted by the Cavs in 2015 but eventually traded to the Timberwolves during draft day.

Now that Joel Embiid is healthy producing 20 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks in 22 minutes in their season opener loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, it makes Noel dispensable to the team. And with Noel becoming a restricted free agent next summer, Sixers general manager Bryan Colangelo might consider this offer having said that they want some "quality point guard" if they would want enter in a trade deal. And that's looks to be point out to Jones.

On the separate report by Mobile & Apps, the deal is also most favorable to the Timberwolves. Having Noel in the lineup would immediately fill in the spot of Nikola Pekovic. Earlier reports have said that Pekovic will not be able to play the entire 2016-2017 season recurring pain in his right ankle.

The report also says that Noel would also provide inside presence both offensively and defensively that he has shown during last season. This could also be the right opportunity for Noel to improve that could mold to a superstar someday.
