Wonder Woman is reportedly getting a new look in the sequel to "Man of Steel." According to some new "Batman Vs. Superman" scoop, Wonder Woman (played by Gal Gadot) will ditch the signature spandex costume for an armored look.

The movie scoop was dropped by El Mayimbe from Latino Review.

"Gal Gadot's WONDER WOMAN outfit will consist of ARMOR. Not the Lynda Carter itty bitty outfit. I hear it looks dope," he tweeted on Jan. 7.

According to Yahoo Movies, film and TV executives have long wanted to figure out a way to make the costume look more modern. According to El Mayimbe, they've finally figured out a way but of course no further details about the new costume is being revealed.

There were also rumors that Ben Affleck's Batman would be getting a new look in the sequel. Screen writer Kevin Smith revealed the exciting news in November during a Hollywood Babble-On podcast. Smith told his listeners that he director Zack Snyder gave him a glimpse of the new batsuit at a Q&A session for the Blu-ray release of "Man of Steel."

"[The new batsuit] will be different from anything we've ever seen before," he said adding that the costume "blew his mind" when he saw it. .

"I saw the Batman costume. More than that I saw a picture of [Affleck] in the costume... Now, I don't want to give anything away 'cause that is up to them and stuff... but I am going to say this, I instantly bear hugged [Snyder]," he continued. "You have not seen this costume in a movie or film before, and for a comic book fan, it was mind bending. I was like 'Get the f**k out of here,' only you have enough power to pull this off."

Smith said the new look for Batman is something even hardcore fans of the comics would love. Further details about Batman's new costume haven't been revealed yet but there has been rumors that it will be modeled after the 2011 graphic novel "Batman: Noel," Comic Book Movie reports.
