With the 2016 NFL trade deadline about to expire just a week from now, speculation is heating up to Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo trade issue. After being linked to being traded to the Denver Broncos and New York Jets, Romo also got the attention of the Los Angeles Rams.

Earlier reports also mentioned that the Cleveland Browns, Chicago Bears and San Francisco 49ers are possible teams for Romo to land. However, the Broncos, Jets and Rams are the three teams who are in the better position to acquire the service of the 13-year QB veteran.

According to Sportsrageous, after moving from St. Louis to Los Angeles this season, the team has been struggling and in dire need of help that Romo could provide. Both Rams QB Jared Goff and Case Keenum are not displaying solid numbers as of late. After having a good start at 3-1, the Rams tumbles to three straight consecutive losses and now at 3-4.

And now that rookie Dak Prescott is doing a good job in quarterbacking the Cowboys, letting go of Romo to the beleaguered Los Angeles Rams is being on consideration of Cowboys. Trading Romo to the Rams could possibly give the Cowboys a first round draft pick.

Holding a 5-1 record, many fans and analyst believed that Prescott can manage to run the team and the return of Romo could only ruin the good momentum of the Cowboys. After Romo suffered a back injury last August, Prescott took over the QB spot and playing the best start as a rookie.

Rams Wire also reported that although it is highly unlikely for the Cowboys to trade Romo to the Rams on November 1 the proposal could be revisited in the offseason. The Rams have what it takes to lure the Cowboys to gave Romo to them.

The Rams have a second and fourth round pick in 2017 NFL draft aside from future picks in 2018 that could bring in the table to entice the Cowboys. If ever the trade pushes through, having a healthy Romo on the Rams lineup might turn their fortunes around.
