You're probably heard about the awesome movie "Doctor Strange" coming out at theaters next month. Well, the film is getting some pretty great reviews on online.

The story is about Stephen Strange, a man who want to learn how to perform the mystic arts. Eventually, he becomes the defender of our planet from threats from other dimensions.

While working on becoming a powerful sorcerer, he also gets totally ripped. Like any other superhero, Doctor Strange has a pretty muscular a body and actor Benedict Cumberbatch needed to go through corresponding training regime in order to get in shape. He recently described how his training regime was like.

The actor said that he eats very well, trained by brilliant people, and working out and do yoga. Benedict added that he needed to have a physio if he injures himself in doing stunts or go running. Everything about the diet and exercises was handed to him so the actor says that it's not that hard. He just needed to really apply himself for that.

Doctor Strange actor also shared that hi is felling lucky because some people would kill for kind of experience like he had the privilege to have. Speaking about safety, Cumberbatch said that as long as hi is doing it sensibly, he's safe. He also added: "There are good ways of doing it and there are bad ways of doing it. You can do a body-building thing where you're destroying your body to rip new muscle or you can do it the way I did it, which is quite diligently, over a long period of time, with a healthy diet."

In order to get their superhero physique, every actor in the MCU has had to go through hell and back to get it. For example, Chris Hemsworth wasn't born muscular like that and Sherlock actor was no different. Instead of lifting the weights for hours and hours per day, Benedict chooses to go with a slower but focused approach - a balanced diet and exercise over a long period of time.

The English actor first started this training regime at the time he was performing Hamlet in London and that is the reason why he calls this "The Shakespeare diet".  His usual day was like this: an hour of training in the morning, go to the studio Doctor Strange rehearsal, and then go to perform Hamlet. According to Hamlet actor, the performance was like a three-hour cardiovascular training and he got into the top physical shape during that time, so all the hard work on Doctor Strange didn't hurt him much.

You probably don't think that Doctor Strange needs to have a body like Captain America levels since hi is a pretty anti-physical character and his punches come from his mind more than his fists. The new live action version of Doctor Strange looks more like his comics' counterpart. In the movie, Strange is trained in martial arts along with magic, so he can basically beat you up in with his mind and his fists, the choice is yours.

Doctor Strange is set to hit theaters on November 4.
