The runtime for "Doctor Strange" has been announced, so the future blockbuster has clocked in at 115 minutes. This is a noticeable shorter runtime compared to other Marvel movies like "Captain America: Civil War" at 147 minutes.

Despite the shorter runtime, Marvel's upcoming movie is currently apprehending for a strong opening weekend between $55 million and $75 million. So, Doctor Strange may be another blockbuster on Marvel's hands. However, they also have a brand new superhero that we will be seeing much more in the future.

Power Rangers & Justice League Are Teaming up

While "Power Rangers" originated as a children television series and Justice League in comic books, both of them have live-action movie adaptations set to hit theaters in 2017. Not to mention that these two are big-budgeted movies.

In addition, they have in common teams of fancy costumed superheroes whose job is to defend their world from other worldly threats, and ongoing constancies stretching across multiple embodiments and platforms.

However, the Justice League and the Power Rangers superheroes have never met face to face before - in any form comic book, cartoon TV show or live-action.

It looks like all that will change in 2017, considering an upcoming comic book miniseries crossover event from DC, Saban Brands, and Boom! Studios.

They announced that Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, Green Lantern (John Stewart), Cyborg and Flash will meet the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Kimberly, Trini, Zack, Jason, Tommy and Billy) in a six-issue monthly miniseries from writer Tom Taylor and artist Stephen Byrne, beginning in January of 2017.

The Justice League and the Power Rangers superheroes will meet when a breach of the Rangers' command center damages the teleporters, which will cause Zack's throwing into an alternate universe full of superheroes with fancy costumes. The rest of the Rangers need to figure out how to get to Zack and rescue him from Batman.

We don't know yet whether the series will set up a Power Rangers vs. Justice League scenario. It does seem like the DC superheroes are going to be careful of these extra-dimensional visitors, at least at the very beginning.
