The Carolina Panthers is in disarray nowadays, especially now that the 2016 NFL season has just started. After accomplishing the total highest win in franchise history last year with a 15-1 record, they started their campaign this year with a dismal 1-4 record. This is not a good start for the defending NFC champs.

And now, reports are spreading that with their recent loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last Sunday, the Panthers are now looking for ways to get back to their old form. Rumor has it that the Panthers are shopping for a CB, and it looks like they are targeting Cleveland Browns CB Joe Haden.

According to Sportsrageous, the Panthers are looking to strike a deal with the Browns to acquire Haden in hopes to turn around their fortune this season. The Panther earlier released starting CB Bene Benwikere after he was lit up in the field by Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones. Jones punished the Panthers with a 300-yard game to win 48-33 and turned to the dismissal of Benwikere from the Panthers lineup.

The report also said that the Panthers have All-Pro CB Josh Norman last year, but in a surprise move they allow him to walk away in free agency and let him signed with the Washington Redskins. But now, the team only has three rookies in CB position and all of them don't have the experience yet. And now, the Panthers are moving to seal a deal with the Browns to get Haden.

According to The Inquisitr, there's a big possibility that the Panthers may acquire Haden before the 2016 NFL trade deadline expires on November 1 this year. Haden has an impressive resume entering in his sixth year as a footballer as per stated in the report.

Haden was once the best CB in 2013 and 2014 making him a two-time Pro-Bowler and currently ranked ninth-best CB in the league today as per stated in the report. Playing only five games in 2015 due to a concussion, he finally got his act together to full recovery. Earlier reports have linked him to be dealt with the Atlanta Falcons, Pittsburgh Steelers, Green Bay Packers, and Oakland Raiders. But it seems that the Panther is his best suitor for him now and adding a veteran like him is ideal.

Will the Panthers make a move to finally acquire Joe Haden?
