The Cleveland Browns continue to struggle this 2016 NFL season. A dismal 0-6 record to start, these makes them the only team who haven't won a game this season. They are at the last place in AFC Division and would likely be out for the playoffs again.

The last time they are in the playoffs was in 2002 when they are beaten by the Pittsburgh Steelers in a wild-card game. With all this happening, the team is looking to find a way to turn around their fortunes before it's too late. And it looks like revisiting old trade talks could be the answer for this.

According to Sportsrageous, trading offensive tackle Pro Bowler Joe Thomas to the Denver Broncos before the November 1 NFL trade deadline is likely going to happen. It was only last season that the Browns and Broncos tried to make a deal for Thomas to play in Denver. But eventually, the Browns backed out to the deal as per stated in the report.

The report also says that the 31-year-old left tackle said in an earlier interview that he is not asking the Browns to trade him and reiterate that he wants to stay with the team even though they are losing. Thomas was drafted by the Browns in 2007 and now playing in his 10th year for the team.

Browns coach Hue Jackson said during the offseason that they will stick with Thomas but now that they are still winless, the team might reconsider the trade proposal with the Broncos. Dealing Thomas with the Broncos could give them future draft picks that they can use to rebuild for the future as per stated in the report.

On the separate report by The Inquisitr, Thomas is considered a beast and one of the best at his position. He's been on the AFC Pro Bowl roster for nine consecutive seasons and deemed to be included again in the lineup this year.

Aside from the Broncos, the Detroit Lions, and the Carolina Panthers are also showing interest to Thomas as per stated in the report. But as of this moment, it looks like he'll be staying with the Browns until such movement will be made by the Broncos, Lions, and Panthers.

Will the Browns release Joe Thomas to other teams?
