OnePlus is a Chinese smartphone that took the market by storm when it launched a few years ago. Today, it stands at its third iteration and the market seems very receptive.

However, the winning stroke of OnePlus3 will be Android Nougat 7.0 that will easily make it an unbeatable flagship.

Even though the handset was released three months ago, the company has decided to give it an upgrade and launch another version with Google's high selling latest OS, Android Nougat 7.0. Already powered by Snapdragon 820 SOC processor, it also comes equipped with 6GB RAM and internal storage of 64GB. With 16MP rear and 8MP front camera, it is easily one of the best handsets out there. Now with the addition of Android Nougat 7.0, OnePlus3 will also become unbeatable.

According to Reddit AMA, OnePlus revealed that they are doing their best to integrate Android Nougat 7.0 in their flagship handset. This news was confirmed when Pete Lau OnePlus CEO posted an update on Twitter that showed OnePlus3 with Android Nougat's N logo.

Even though the release date has not been confirmed yet, it has been revealed that the company is working on OnePlus X Android Nougat 7.0 update, along with their highly anticipated handsets - OnePlus3 and OnePlus2. Reports indicate that OnePlus3, complete ith Android Nougat 7.0 update will release during Christmas.

Meanwhile, there is also news that the OxygenOS will be upgraded in 2017. The existing variant of OnePlus3 runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based OxygenOS. Even though OnePlus X may not be a part of OnePlus 3, OnePlus 2, OnePlus X Android 7.0 Nougat update rollout, reports reveal that its users can use CyanogenMod to give Android 7.0 Nougat a shot.

The developer friendly OnePlus3 has left the option of custom-built mods open. Some OnePlus 3 users have alreadt tried the latest Android update by simply downloading the CyanogenMod CM14 ROM, as reported by Parent Herald.
