The rumor mills are churning that Chris Hemsworth is putting a seal to his meaningful association with wife Elsa Pataky.

A much of a bitter pill to swallow for the high-spirited couple, the news came in as a shock for the duo themselves. Gleaning the limelight, the October 31 issue of Australia's Woman's Day featured the marriage of the loved-up duo claiming that their relationship is "on the rocks" as they have been "living separate lives".

According to the source, "They've decided they need space, and they've been taking a little break from each other." Hemsworth has been shooting Thor: Ragnarok in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, while Pataky flew to Spain last month with their kids. The bottom line, the tabloid said, is that the couple's marriage "may not be as picture perfect as it appears."

Hemsworth promptly took it to his respective social media account and debunked the ongoing rumor that has been doing rounds in the world of paparazzi. He posted a picture with his sizzling wife, Pataky and wrote, "Looking for a new wife according to @womansdayaus and other misleading outlets! Honey you still love me right?!" Tagging Pataky, 40, in the Instagram caption, Hemsworth, 33, added, "#thanksfortheheadsup."

It was this Monday morning Chris Hemsworth got to know that his marriage is falling apart. While all the ladies might be looking forward for this news to pour in, the duo appear to be totally draped in love, setting straight all such rumors.

Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky tied knot in 2010, just after going out for a few months. Hemsworth, while highlighting his personal life on ITV's Good Morning Britain in March maintained that "it just felt right".

"It made sense. There was no great plan to any of it to be honest, we were on holiday and we said, 'Why don't we get married, too?' And then the next minute...There probably should have been some planning, but it all worked out. Honestly, we had both our families on holiday at the same time, just randomly, and we said, 'This is a good opportunity with everyone together.' So, we just did it."

And now, having involved in a successful marital association, the jubilant duo has a daughter and twin sons. Chris Hemsworth is currently dwelling in his humble native abode back in Australia after living in the United States for a few years.

Life is good with Pataky, too-as it's always been. "There was no light bulb moment," he told Elle in 2015. "From the first time we met, we just made sense. She's fun. She's outgoing, and she has a sense of humor and a passionate attitude toward life, which is nice to try to keep up with."
