Pokemon GO will have some kind of connective feature with both Pokemon Sun and Moon. This is pretty interesting news because there are hardly any mobile games which have connective features with 3DS games.

Recently, Nintendo started developing mobile games with the new Mario game for iOS smartphones, so that makes sense that we can expect some cool surprises for Pokemon fans as well.

INSTANT CONNECTION

We know that Pokemon GO has lost some momentum in recent months, but it's still pretty popular mobile game for people of all ages. Since Pokemon Sun and Moon is taking the franchise to new levels, it makes perfect sense to make some sort of connective feature between those games. The game is the best of two worlds, at least for 3DS fans.

The director confirmed the news during an interview with Game Informer. "We want people who picked up Pokémon and learned about it through Pokémon Go to also play Sun and Moon and the main series games," Junichi Masuda said. He also added that they want to have a kind of way to connect those two, either to have a way for people who enjoyed one game to enjoy some of their improvement in the other one. Masuda concluded, "that will definitely come down the road."

While the director didn't state what exactly the features would be, he did say that he wants players to get to know the mobile game. We hope that 3DS players will get some sort of bonus or reward for connecting one of the 3DS games with the mobile title.

BONUSES FOR POKEMON GO PLAYERS?

Knowing that the mobile game can connect to the 3DS games, we have to wonder what benefit the mobile players will get. Perhaps the connection can give players some extra candy for Pokemon or some EXP for the fan. Also, rare Pokemon or two would be nice too, though that is quite doubtful.

Pokemon Sun and Moon are set for a November 18 release, but the demo is available now. Pokemon GO is available on iOS and Android smartphones. The app is free, but players can buy items with real money.
