KD and Curry combined for 59 points in another Warriors' victory, 123-112

Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry led the charge for the Golden State Warriors as they claim their fifth consecutive victory in NBA preseason games against the Los Angeles Lakers, 123-112.

Stephen Curry tallied 32 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals. He also made 6 three-pointers in the game. Kevin Durant is getting more and more comfortable in a Warriors' uniform as he scored 27 points on 10-19 shooting from the field and 7-7 from the free-throw line.

The other 2 members of the Super 4, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, also had great games. Klay Thompson had 19 points, 3 rebounds, 8 assists and 2 blocks. Draymond Green had another versatile game with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists, per ESPN.

Despite coming off the bench, Brandon Ingram played 28 minutes to score a Lakers' game-high 21 points. He also recorded 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. Nick Young supported Ingram's offensive production as he had 19 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.

With a win, the Golden State Warriors remain atop of the Western Conference in preseason with a 5-1 record. The Los Angeles on the other hand is now 2-5 and 13th in the West in preseason games, per NBA.com.

 

New York Knicks crushed Boston Celtics, 121-96

New York Knicks pulverized powerhouse Boston Celtics to a 25-point victory, 121-96.

Kristaps Porzingis came out big for the Knicks as he registered 20 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals and 3 block shots in 23 minutes of playing time. Kyle O-Quinn had a terrific game off the bench as he put up 12 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks.

Rookie sensation Jaylen Brown started the game for the Celtics and led the team in scoring as he scored 17 points on 5-14 shooting from the field and 5-10 from the free-throw line. Terry Rozier had also an outstanding game with 13 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists.

Carmelo Anthony and Derrick Rose didn't play for the New York Knicks. In Boston Celtics line-up, Al Horford, Isaiah Thomas and Avery Bradley didn't play due to rest.

New York Knicks is now 3-2 in the preseason while the Boston Celtics is 5-2.

 

Harden's double-double lifted the Rockets over the Mavs, 106-91

Harden had another double-double game as he carried the Houston Rockets to another victory over the Dallas Mavericks, 106-91.

James Harden finished the game with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists. He also shot an impressive 8-14 shooting from the floor and 5-8 from the free-throw line. Newly-acquired Ryan Anderson has been impressive for the Rockets so far. The game was not an exemption as he had another great game with 14 points and 4 rebounds. He also had 4 three-pointers.

Wesley Matthews shined in this game for the Dallas Mavericks. He dropped 15 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 steals. NBA veteran Dirk Nowitzki played 25 minutes to score 12 points on 4-9 shooting from the field and 4-4 from the free-throw line.

With a win, Houston Rockets had an impressive 5-1 record in the preseason. They tied 1st in the West in preseason with the NBA's superteam today, Golden State Warriors. The Dallas Mavericks now fall to 2-4 in preseason, per ESPN.
