SBS has prepared "Legend of the Blue Sea" Lee Min-Ho and Jun Ji-Hyun to fill in "Jealousy Incarnate" time slot, which will end next month. The drama released its first teaser trailer yesterday to satisfy the fans' curiosity.

"Legend of the Blue Sea" is the first Korean drama that tells the tale of mermaid in Joseon era. Powerhouse actor and actress, Lee Min-Ho and Jun Ji-Hyun played together in the drama.

Lee will play dual role as a nobleman Heo Joon-Jae in the Joseon era, and a con artist Kim Moo in the modern day. While Jun will be the last mermaid on earth who tries to adapt the life.

The storyline was written by Joseon official and scholar Yu Mong-In (1559-1623). Yu's mermaid story was found in his book 어우야담 (Eu Yadam = Yu Unofficial History). In his book, Yu wrote about a mermaid who was captured by Joseon fisherman that subsequently was released her back to the sea.

During the filming in Spain, the drama attracted attention from Catalan local newspaper Diari de Girona. It wrote the drama shooting in the front cover in one of its editions.

The drama was written by Park Ji-Eun, the same writer who wrote the all-time hit "My Love from the Stars" which also starred by Jun in 2013.

According to  Soompi,"Legend of the Blue Sea" may potentially break the record for licensing right which is currently held by "Descendants of the Sun" with $270,000. One broadcasting company in China is reported to offer $500,000 for the licensing rights.

Furthermore, Korea Boo reported that SBS believe the drama will become the "Greatest Show Ever Aired." The SBS has released the first teaser trailer of the drama on Tuesday, Oct. 18.
