After not showing at the recent IFA 2016 event, Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is expected to be launched by mid-2017 as the South Korean tech giant has already sent an application for certification to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

The device will have some revolutionary specs and features, such as huge RAM capacity, Exynos or a Qualcomm processor and huge battery capacity, among others.

A leaked photo of Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 was shared by Evan Blass on Twitter. The Tab S3 design don't appear to be much different from its predecessor.

The upcoming tablet will consist of a 16:10 aspect ratio, not on 4:3, with a curved-edged chassis. This may not sit well with those favoring a square tablet, writes NEUROGADGET.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 most probably would be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor or an Exynos 8890 octa-core chipset. The Qualcomm processor will provide users with increased performance. A spectacular 4GB RAM is expected for the 32GB and 64GB Internal storage version

When we are talking about display specs, the Samsung tablet is expected to be released in two alternatives based on their screen size, 8-inch and 9.7-inch, with 4K resolution and AMOLED display.

The 8-inch version would have 4,000 mAh battery capacity while the 9.7-inch would have 5,870 mAh battery, writes Mobile & Apps.

The newest Galaxy Tab will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS with a possible upgrade to the Android 7.0 Nougat in the future.

As for the camera, tech experts believed an 8MP back and 2MP front camera might be incorporated into Galaxy Tab S3. It will have USB Type-C port that will be similar to one on the Galaxy Note 7.

Samsung has remained tight-lipped on the device's release date and price.

There has been no information about how much Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will cost. However, some people believe it will be the price around US$420.

Aside from a few leaks and rumors, we've known very little about Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. It is generally known that Samsung has success in keeping its tablets largely under wraps in previous years. However, as we near the launch date, surely we will see more solid information dripping out.
