Samsung Galaxy Tab S3's launch is looming.

The South Korean technology giant has been secretly working on the successor of the Galaxy Tab S2 for quite some time now.

Although, Samsung has been tight-lipped regarding any news about Galaxy Tab S3. There have been a number of reliable leaks and rumor, which is proof enough that Galaxy Tab S3's launch is imminent.

Earlier, the speculations for the release of the new model was strengthened when China's TEENA confirmed knowledge of the new Galaxy Tab. Images of the new model of the Galaxy tab was released along with some specifications.

Galaxy Tab S3 also made it already to FCC, certification board in the US.

It is common knowledge that these certification bodies are the last stages before new gadgets are released officially in the market.

With regards to specifications, the Galaxy Tab S3 is rumored to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow staright out of the box. Though, an update for Android 7.0 Nougat may be available in the long run.

It will also either run on the very powerful Exynos 8890 octa-core chipset similar to Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. However, some reports point to the Galaxy Tab S3 being powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820.

Nevertheless, Galaxy Tab S3 will have big RAM capacity of 4GB with 8 MP rear camera and 2 MP front camera and USB Type-C port.

It is also expected to come with 32 GB to 64 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128 GB with a microSD card.

Galaxy Tab S3 will be available in either 8.0 or 9.7-inch Quad-HD, Super AMOLED display resolution of 1,536 x 2,048 pixels.

The 8.0 inch and 9.7 inch display options will have 4000 mAh and 5870 mAh batteries, respectively.

The Galaxy Tab S3 will be released on 2017 for around $420.
